Jordan speaks to ButtonBashers

Heroes of Newerth the game on everybody's lips, the game that's taking over the competitive game "DotA". Organisations including fnatic, Buttonbashers, Check Six and of course our very self's Unique-esports spoke to BB journalist Asway on why we chosen to pick up a HoN team and what do we think about the game its self.

Representing Unique-esports in this interview is managing director Jordan Goodman who had this to say to ButtonBashers journalist:

“Well when HoN first came out in the states, a few my close friends were playing it and it seemed very similar to DotA. Once they explained the concepts are similar but the gameplay is completely different and is in constant flux I started to enjoy watching competitive play. I started to look around the newly established HoN scene and found the perfect choice in our current team. I believe we were the first organization to pick up a pro HoN team, but I could be wrong. HoN, I believe, is getting the recognition that DotA once had in the past. You are now seeing HoN replace DotA at events like i-series, copenhagen and ESWC. With the proper backing from Esports Heaven for the online tournaments, I think you will start to see more and more events become dedicated solely to HoN as you once did for DotA.” JordanG from Unique-esports
